Password Managers all generally have the same achilles heel. They generally store your credentials in a highly secure "safe" with government grade encryption, but in order to actually USE your credentials locked in the safe, you have to open it. And then you have to leave it open for as long as you need to use your credentials
LogonSafe is the next evolution of password management. Rather than leaving your safe open all the time, we treat each set of credentials like a safety deposit box. Sure, all of the safety deposit boxes are inside of a master "vault", but each set of credentials only gets unlocked when you need them, and are only unlocked for as long as you need them.
In addition to this more granular approach to decryption, our patent pending storage model ensures that LogonSafe only stores your credentials locally on a single device, and then shares them, upon user approval, with any other devices that need them.
We do not store your passwords in our cloud any longer than it takes to transport them from one device to another, and even then they are fully encrypted.
LogonSafe allows you all the convenience of a cloud based password manager, without the risk of storing your credentials in anyone's cloud.
We do this through our patent-pending method of storing and retrieving your credentials to/from your "primary device" with our service only acting to authenticate, and facilitate, transmissions between your devices.
Primary Device
Your "primary device" is like your own password server on your cell phone. Cell phones are always with us. Whether at our desk or on the beach, our cell phone is always close at hand.
By using our cell phone as our "primary device" we guarantee both immediate access to our passwords, and also, generally, the physical security of the device itself.
Secondary Device
Your "Secondary" device acts like a "credential client" and is is any other PC that needs access to the credentials stored on your cell phone.
The LogonSafe service simply routes the request from your PC to your cell phone, and then transmits the encrypted credentials back to the PC for use.
